The Indie Shop – Anaheim Event Exclusives!

Hi everyone! I had a lovely lady pick up a few event exclusive polishes for me from the last Indie Shop event held right near my favorite place in the world – Disneyland! Keep reading to see all about these babies!

Just a quick little rundown of what exactly the Indie Shop is – the Indie Shop (started by Melody of Envy Lacquer) was created as a way for the masses to see and purchase from their favorite independent brands in person. I have only had the opportunity to attend one past event held in the Bay Area but I always keep my eye out to see where the next will be held.

This past event was dubbed ‘Tisneyland’ and a slew of Disney inspired polishes were released. I was lucky enough to grab three from a very kind polish addict like myself.

Polished For Days – Bibbity Bobbity Boo

PFD’s event exclusive was inspired by Cinderella. “Bibbity Bobbity Boo” is a gorgeous Cinderella blue base jam packed with a pink shift, holo and shifting flakes (I am awful at describing things but its a beautiful assortment!). The formula was not my favorite from PFD and took three thin coats to get the opacity I wanted. Take your time with this and don’t drag the coats once you’ve laid them out.

The duo released by Envy Lacquer and Nvr Enuff Polish was inspired by the park ride The Haunted Mansion, one of my favorites. They also included a special pin designed to accompany the duo. I have it up in my office at work but I did not snap a picture of it.

Nvr Enuff Polish – Doombuggie

“Doombuggie” was inspired by the ride vehicles of the HM. It is a grey based with a strong purple shift to it. It glows in the dark but I didn’t have a chance to test that part of it out. Shown is three thin coats and top coat. Shown is three thin coats and top coat.

Envy Lacquer – Look Alive

“Look Alive” was inspired by the distressed iron fixture adorning the ride, including the sign on the outside of the ride welcoming you to the mansion. I don’t own any Envy Lacquer polishes but I am going to start! Shown is two coats and top coat.

You can still find “Bibbity Bobbity Boo” on the Polished For Days website at, but the other two are no longer available.

XOXO, Dani
